The slogan 'BE PREPARED' is the motto of the youngsters in the Scout movement. The country needs youngsters who are not hesitant to face or handle any situation. Their exposure in the movement helps them manage life at any given moment and swim towards safety. They start their journey in the movement as early as class VI and march ahead towards success, breathing the air of patriotism.

Our Scouts and Guides troop was commissioned in the year 2004.

This Movement helps our students develop

•   Caring of nurturing relationship with parents / adults of peers.

Camps are conducted at our school and also by the district Scouts and Guides.

Students are prepared for RajyaPuraskar Award exam and Rashtrapati Award exam every year.

Our School NSS Unit comprising boys has entered its seventh year with a commendable track record of service to humanity. It has 25 volunteers. The total period of service for an NSS volunteer is 2 years. This scheme aims at arousing an awareness of the realities of life and a better understanding of the problems faced by people. It is a definite attempt at making education relevant to the needs of the society.

Our school NSS unit carries out many regular activities every year. In addition, a special residential camp for seven days is held for the first year NSS volunteers during terminal holidays. Our NSS unit adopts a village for a period of three years to address the needs of its residents.

Our volunteers have created awareness among the residents of the adopted village about environment and the need for cleanliness. Other service activities that benefit the locals include clearing the weeds on the temple premises, planting saplings, organising medical camp, screening short films about great leaders and so on.

Interact Club

The basic objective is to realize other people suffering and to extend all possible help. The main objective is to be empathetic towards people irrespective of economic status and nationality and extend all possible support.

Sanskriti Club

The club aims at instilling values among the students. The club members ensure that the values are shared through different forums and graded activities across all classes. Assemblies, discussions, value camps and debates are a few to name.

Value camps are the unique program arranged by the school for the students of classes I - XII. The objective of the program is to reinforce the core values (SPORT) of the school and sow the seeds of morals and ethics in the minds of students at a young stage. The school strongly believes that the seeds sown will grow into large trees which would benefit the society and nation greatly.Our experienced and efficient teachers play a vital role in conducting such camps. External resources with high principles and beliefs support the school in conducting camps along with the teachers.

This programme is unique of its kind in empowering parents to actively involve and enshrine values necessary in the upbringing of their children. The viewpoints of teachers also find a place in such sessions which gives a perfect handholding for the student. Experts from various fields contribute their best to nourish the skills in parenting.

Today’s students are exposed to lot scientific and technological devices. The influence of society and media perplexes them to a great extent. They intensively need support from an adult who suitably guides them to choose the right trail amidst the distractions they experience. Counseling sessions for students by qualified and efficient counselors is a salient feature of THE TVS SCHOOL. The school counsellors help children in various areas such as academic, social, behavioral, and emotional development. They work in collaboration with the teachers, parents and special educators to create a healthy learning environment that makes them feel comfortable. They also help to provide specific solutions to children with particular problems. Their intervention to direct the students in the appropriate path is done through individual sessions, group sessions and if needed through parent counseling too.
